The House last week 20 – 22 August 2019
Last week was dominated by the Reproductive Health Care Reform Bill 2019. Two other Government bills were introduced as well as a private members' bill. Three orders for papers were agreed to, and another disputed claim of privilege.
In the House – Thursday 22 August 2019
Another bumper Thursday. One new bill was introduced while the second reading debate resumed for another, three orders for papers were agreed to and four motions debated.
In the House – Wednesday 21 August 2019
Debate on the second reading of the Reproductive Health Care Reform Bill 2019 concluded on Wednesday evening and two other bills were received from the Assembly. An arbiter was appointed to evaluate a claim of privilege on documents returned under an Order for Papers.
In the House – Tuesday 20 August 2019
Tuesday was dominated by the Reproductive Health Care Reform Bill 2019. The message from the Assembly forwarding the bill was reported, the Social Issues Committee report was received and the House agreed to vary the conduct of business to deal with the second reading of the bill.
